Overview

Wood Chipping Services in Buffalo & Western New York

Brush piles are the part of tree work everybody underestimates. A morning of pruning generates a heap that will not fit in a car, cannot go out with household waste, and will sit at the side of the yard until it goes grey. After a storm, half a street’s worth of limbs turns into a genuine disposal problem.

We bring the chipper to you. Limbs and brush go through on site and come out as clean wood mulch, which we can either leave for you to use on your beds and paths or load out and take away entirely. It is available as part of any removal or pruning job, and as a standalone service if you have already done the cutting yourself.

On-site chipping of limbs and brush — no hauling piles yourself Keep the mulch for your beds and paths, or we take it all away Post-storm brush and debris cleanup Cleanup after your own pruning or DIY project Log cutting to firewood lengths on request Included with our removal and pruning jobs as standard Site raked and blown clean when the chipping is done

When to Call

Signs You Need This Service

If any of these describe your property, it is worth having a certified arborist take a look before the situation gets more expensive.

Storm Debris Across the Yard

A lake-effect storm leaves limbs and brush over the whole property. We chip it where it lies and clear the lot.

You Did the Cutting Yourself

Plenty of people can prune their own trees and then have nowhere to put the result. Standalone chipping solves exactly that.

The Pile Is a Fire or Pest Risk

Dry brush stacked near a house or garage is a hazard, and a settled pile becomes a home for rodents and insects.

You Want Free Mulch

Chipped brush is good mulch for beds, paths, and around trees. Keeping it on site costs nothing and saves buying bags.

It Will Not Fit in Curbside Pickup

Municipal collection has limits on length, diameter, and volume that a real brush pile passes very quickly.

You Are Clearing a Fence or Lot Line

Overgrown boundaries and volunteer scrub generate a lot of material in a hurry — chipping keeps the job moving.

Our Process

How the Job Runs

No guesswork and no surprise invoices. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you call to the moment we leave the site clean.

Tell Us What You Have

Describe the pile — rough volume, biggest limb diameter, and how close a truck can get. We quote from that.

Set Up for Access

We position the chipper and truck to keep the run short and protect turf and paving on the way in.

Chip On Site

Brush and limbs are fed through and reduced to clean wood mulch, blown into the truck or into a pile you keep.

Haul or Leave

Mulch goes with us or stays with you, and either way the site gets raked and blown clean before we leave.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, and a lot of customers do. Fresh chips make good mulch for beds, paths, and rings around trees, and it costs you nothing to keep them since we are chipping anyway. Tell us where you want the pile. One tip: keep fresh chips as surface mulch rather than digging them into soil, and hold them back a few inches from trunks and stems.

We do — it is one of the more common standalone calls we get. When you ring, give us a rough idea of the pile size, the biggest limb diameter in it, and how close we can get a truck. Keep butt ends facing one direction if you can; it makes the job noticeably faster and cheaper.

Our chippers handle typical residential limb material comfortably. Anything beyond that we cut into manageable log lengths and either stack it for you as firewood or haul it out. When you describe the pile, we will tell you which parts get chipped and which get cut and carried.

Yes. Chipping the brush and cleaning the site is part of every removal and pruning job we quote — there is no separate charge for it, and you are not left with a pile. Extra hauling of large logs or wood splitting beyond the agreed scope can add cost, and we spell that out in the estimate.

That is your call, and it affects the price, so we cover it in the estimate. Some people want everything gone; others want the trunk cut to firewood lengths and left. Both are fine — just tell us which before we start, because it changes how we cut the tree down.
